The Supremacy of Finance and the Crisis
Abstract
The paper discusses the untouched finance’s supremacy, despite its responsibility in the current crisis. It uses mainly ideas of Marx, Keynes and Minsky to analyze the relations between financial capital, fictitious capital and financial fragility which lead to the crisis and to discuss Keynesian solutions for it, proposing an interpretation of the reasons for the maintenance of the political and economic predominance of finance over production.
